Tough winds today (12 to 15 MPH steady) and I just wasn't feeling it which the results showed.
Mentally, I didn't want to race after completing my warmup which made the race a lot longer than it needed to be.
I gave myself a high mark on effort because I focused on catching a few runners during the event and was able to do that and pass them so there is that.
Ultimately I got it done and now will not race another 5k for a month and possibly longer. Maybe the respite will do me some good.
