I was lucky enough to win my first ever 5k despite a not so stellar performance.
I have had a tough 7 day stretch of racing and training though so I am cool with my time (of course winning helps).
This event was not originally on my season schedule and I only did it because the temps were in the mid 40's, go figure!
My next event is a mile race and I am really excited about what I may be able to run there.
