Could've gone much faster, afterwards felt like I could've given more but the hills in the beginning scared me a bit and I didn't know enough about the course to know if I needed to hold some back for the finish or not (turns out it was allll downhill, so no). Wish I'd given it more.
Already looking forward to smashing it next time, though!
Passed this older japanese guy back and forth the entire time. He called us on it after the second round and told us he was going to catch us. On the next downhill he did, very nice form, obviously not even trying hard. Jules and I passed him one more time and then he passed us, and that's the last we saw of him until the end when Jules flew by him and beat him by 2 seconds. Ha!
