A husband of 21 years to my beloved wife, Patty. A father of three beautiful & intelligent daughters, Christy-20, Stephy-18 & Audrey-15. Crazy cat man of three cats & one crazy lab/collie dog. I'm mainly a nerd that loves Comic books, Movies, Paranormal & UFO investigation, EUP, Astronomy, Gardening, Spending time with my family and now back into Jogging and/or Running!!! |
Why do I run:
The hope that I will be able to run without having to slow to a walk over and over again. Plus I enjoy making running friends at the Y Marathon Training. |
Why I started running:
It's one my bucket list items iv'e wanted to accomplish. I tried to run long distance in high school back in 1988 but didn't get very far. I did take an arobics class that worked me out to where I could run/jog continiously without getting winded or out of energy. I'd love to get back to that point and enjoy running! My other reason is that I haven't had a goal to get back into shape and training for our upcoming marathon is what I seem to need. My health & weight had gotten cruddy. (Overweight & on blood pressure & cholesterol meds to keep them in check.) The side effects of the meds drive me nuts. |
