Weather felt great today. It may have been a bit warm for those guys running a whole marathon but perfect for my recovery run. My legs felt phenomenal again for the first half of the run after a long weekend on the feet. Kept it very smooth and relaxed out to the end of the trail at Danada and turned back. Once I stopped to shit and felt a bit lighter I started to pick the pace up a bit. Felt a little less smooth once I picked it up but didn't push too hard and left my strides/pick-ups for post run this time. Went out in 33:16, came back in just under 31. Pretty good for not pushing too hard. The last couple miles felt the effects of beer and burger for a late dinner. Anyways glad to feel strong the last couple days.
