The first 5 minutes of this was easy to steady to get my breath after the hill repeats. Then did 6 reps of 90 sec on, 30 sec off with 20-10-20 at the 30 sec point of each rep. This was easily the hardest fartlek I've ever done due to the wind as well as those 20-10-20s being brutal before settling back into 10kish pace and still having to finish the last 30-45 seconds of each rep. 12:00 of fartlek before heading into a white oak loop for a cool-down taking 7:51 up Loomis hill and back down the front drive. Felt like puking the last couple reps of the fartlek but knew that was making it quite a workout. Felt like that on most of my workouts during my best season at NCC trying to get back in shape and therefore puking or coming damn close on most of my workouts that winter and spring. Another successful workout in some trying conditions.
