Notes
The race was called off tonight due to the constant lightning and thunderstorms, so I met up with Chris Derrick at Springbrook after I got off work super late. We did 2 of his 5.5 mile loops, building into the first one, and then picking it up on the second one. The light show was something else, definitely a sight to see. Felt pretty smooth and relaxed throughout most of the run. Definitely enjoyed the company and tried to learn what I could from someone so fast. We clicked off the first loop in 35:34 and the second loop in 31:00. A pretty good negative split, and loved finally getting to run in the rain.
