Not nearly as fast as hoped but with no real clue where I would be today, not terribly disappointed. A little frustrated to get beat by as many white guys as I did, especially knowing a handful of them but they at least are good runners. Was super pissed a fucking Augie guy was pushing the pace on Brady and I the first 3 miles so I just got more and more angry. Kept it close enough and was still with Kerr at the turnaround and then started to feel terrible as we turned around and I got dropped. Passed one guy just after the downhill and then eventually caught and battled one more guy the last 1.5 miles or so. Finally got up to him by 6 miles, put a little ground on him, then got beat down the hill. He still was within range turning onto the final straight and as soon as I could read the finish line sign, I took off going all in. I caught him and kept pushing, not wanting to get beat by a woman either. Apparently put 6 or 7 seconds on him at the end. Was within close sight to Brady and Kerr at least and under 40 seconds behind Kramer. Have a ways to go to get back but at least showing progress. Ended up 19th overall. Splits were 5:26, 4:42, 5:13, 5:14, 5:20, 5:20, 4:47. Put over a minute on the Augie greed at least but need to get back to being the best on this course of anyone I know.
