Like new shoes, but don't LOVE new shoes. Left one rubs achilles a bit. Heel fits snuggly, but rear of shoe comes up a bit too high. Hope this is not a problem once shoe is better broken-in...definitely will stick to shorter runs for a while. Think I would buy half-size down for warmer weather runs in thinner socks, too. 8.5 is fine with my med-weight SmartWools, but with the lights and ultra-light weight socks I wear in Summer I think they'd be too roomy.
