First half of run was not too bad. But by the second half I was reminded that these shoes do not merely not fit my feet well, they just plain are miserable. The Superfeet blue insoles helped the overall fit issues (take up less room in narrow shoes), but the lack of cushion made every pebble feel uncomfortably noticeable and the entire sole of my foot hurt...heels, arches, forefoot. Feet just generally felt overworked and achey...like they were being smacked with a mallet. Between that and heat I walked off-and-on for last 5 miles or so.
