Good race today. Johnny led wire to wire and won in 4:12, nobody came close to him. It was a two-turn stagger and i was in the second alley with Sebhat, Brink and Reyes from St. Francis. The first lap was us getting out a bid harder it seemed, but once johnny got ahead of us i thought the pace was slow. I dont know many splits, i remember coming through the 800 in 2:12 and at about 600 to go, the pace started picking up. Up until now i had been running on yonny's right shoulder in lane two. now i was in lane one and our whole pack of me, brink, sebhat, muth and tim rolled over the St. Francis guys and started kicking pretty hard once we got to the 400 to go mark. then i started really hammering on the opposite side of the track from 1200-1500, and moved up with the pack. At 100 to go i tried to make a move around brink but everyone was throwing everything they had at the same time so i ended up not passing and the last 60 meters were kinda bad. I had really started to fade but i still finished less than a second behind brink at 4:19. got 6th in overall behind 5 teammates so it was a great team effort. First time officially under 4:20 as well.
