After two runs where I ran large negative splits and didn't rely on the HR monitor to keep me in check, I forced myself to keep AHR really low, no matter how slow I seemed to be going. Ran first half at 8:49 w/ AHR 149, second half at 8:54 pace w/ AHR 140. Higher that typical AHRs might be the result of warm temps and still being somewhat tired from Sunday's race and the runs from the last two days.
