Final quality workout before SF10. Included 3 X 1 mile @ paces between 10K and 10 mile race pace. First repeat with tailwind in 5:53 (felt easy), 2nd repeat into the 10-15 mph headwinds in 5:57 (noticeable difference in exertion level), 3rd repeat, with 1/2 into wind and 1/2 with wind at my back in 5:56. Each repeat separated by 2:45-3:00 of easier effort running (between 7:00 and 7:30 pace). Solid run!
