Sunny, winds over 20 mph with gusts near 30, and rapidly warming temps (42 at start, 51 at finish). Quality portion of today's run was a choice of either 6 X 1 mile repeats @ 10K pace + 5 seconds (6:15-6:23) with 90 second full rests or 2 X 3 miles @ "HMP" (6:31-6:40). Heading out for the workout, the plan was for the miles @ HMP, but once I started, my legs told me to go for the mile repeats. First three repeats were into the wind (6:10, 6:23, 6:11), last 3 were wind-aided (6:02, 5:56, 5:57). I totally didn't expect that.
