Chi-Town Half Marathon. Strong effort today. Made the mistake of trying to keep up with lead group in first mile, lost some focus between miles 8-10, and struggled a bit with the winds coming off the lake. And I think I might have gone past a turnaround in Mile 12 (1.23 miles between the Mile 12 sign and the finish seems too long), as there was nobody supervising that spot. But I'm very pleased with my run today and the 40 second PR. This was a diagnostic race, one that would test whether or not I should be thinking of trying to shoot for a sub 1:22 in May. So far, things look good.
Result was good enough for 12th overall and 2nd in age group.
