Notes
Here's the tale. Boston went well. Can't complain about 3:11 and a 5 min PR. But I know I was ready for more. Ran too hard through the taper. Surely 90 mile weeks had to pay off better than that? Maybe not.Quality vs quantity et al.
Nonetheless, I gave Toronto a shot. Tapered way more and hoped for fresh enough legs. Slept like shit last few days, tweaked my back stretching yesterday morning and had to attend a function last night that kept me out late. Stars not aligned, I headed to the start full of positivity. The gun went off and so did I. To quote Corland again, I ran right out of my own skin, sucked it up when the legs felt dead at 18 miles and pushed through.
Result: Another PR 3:08:33, 5th AG, 65th OA and stoked!
