ran on the high school track, Denise was there too

did easy warmup of 5 laps, then 5 miles intending for 8 minute pace. first mile was 5 seconds slow, next 4 miles about 5 seconds fast. 2 laps then jog home for cooldown.

the workout felt harder than I expected, tempted to ease up.
