Miles of Memories 10k by Jersey Shore Hospital
started in lead group of 4 guys running about 6:35 pace. by mile 1 dropped to 4th and 7:08 pace. moved into 3rd in 2nd mile on an uphill. gradually gained on number 2 and came alongside at about 3.5. moved ahead at about 4 miles. leader seemed about half mile ahead. tried to press the pace without losing too much on the uphills. managed to run faster at the end.
watch showed 6.42 miles at 7:18 pace. mile splits: 7:22, 7:27, 7:22, 7:22, 7:30, 7:06, 6:44
