2019 Boston Marathon. While I am thrilled to have run the Boston Marathon, this was a horrible race for me. By Mile 10, I start to feel awful. It rained in the morning, then was cloudy at the start. Around Mile 10 it got bright and sunny, which perhaps explains why I started to struggle then. After a while it clouded up again and began to rain.
This was by far my slowest marathon to date, and it was NOT a pleasant run. I don't know why. Perhaps it was the weather. Perhaps it was because I just ran a marathon a month ago. Perhaps I was ailing from something. Or maybe it just wasn't my day. Whatever, the reason, it wasn't fun. Nonetheless, I'm happy to have finished and checked state #46 off the list.
