Notes

Perfect racing weather. I ran about a half mile warmup 10 minutes before the race started.

My mile splits accoring to the Garmin (which measured 3.17mi) were 6:18, 8:45, 7:10, and 1:00 for the last 0.17. I ran my fastest mile ever in the first mile, then bonked hard on Shell Hill in mile 2. The downhill helped a lot in the third mile, and I had a decent kick at the end.

The only negative was that I had to walk twice during mile 2 and once in mile 3 to recover from the too fast start and from Shell Hill.
