I was in the mood to run fast today but without doing a full-on speed workout. So I sped up a little each mile and tried to stay at what used to be half-marathon pace. I slowed down a little coming up the final hill (over the pedestrian bridge and back to the car), but I kept the same effort level. It was a good run, but I've definitely lost some speed-endurance with all these long, easy runs.
