I swam ok today but too fast. They had a large digital timer, so I kept timing myself, which made me attempt to speed up. I did 2 half-laps (25m) in 43 seconds each, but that was too fast for me. I had to go back to a slower stroke to maintain easy breathing.

With 25m to go, two old ladies jumped in my lane with me using those floaty dumbbell things. So I had to dodge them on my last half-lap because they barely moved over at all. :-(
