The weather was great. 53 at the start and mid-60s at the end. Low humidity.
I paced this race much better than last week. After the first 2 fast miles, I walked about 15 seconds per mile, and that made a HUGE difference! I held ~8:40 pace for the last 7 miles of the race. I still felt good at the end, and I had enough energy to run back and find Will.
