Ran 5 miles this time, with walking before and after again. Did exercises last night and was a tiny bit stiff and sciatica-y on the left this morning, I suspect mainly or solely from the single-leg deadlifts. So I'm going to drop those. Walking beforehand did not completely loosen things up, but then running immediately did. So maybe I don't need to walk first anymore. Running felt good. Some mild tightness immediately afterwards seemed to be relieved by stretching before showering. I'll need to wear my small backpack (instead of the one-shoulder bag) and teach, so hopefully that won't cause trouble.
