Beginning now to separate walking from running, so that I will always actually run the distance recorded in runs here. Did exercises again yesterday afternoon, including hex DL, three sets of hamstring ball curls, and side planks with twists. The latter in particular irritated by back immediately. It stayed irritated last night and, despite a lot of stretching and rolling (including QL focussed efforts), still this morning. It never really loosened up during my one mile walk before running, but it didn't hurt while running, and it was looser by the time I stopped. Running really seems to be the best thing for my back right now. I'm still worried about both calves, though, which occasionally complain.
