Josh says it was a vmo strain, which could possibly have been precipitated by tight hamstrings making my quads work harder. Exercises: lunges with my toes pointed slightly out (3x5), steps ups (3x5), monster walks (3x), clams (3x10). Sore today from doing those exercises yesterday.
