Notes
Cherry Blossom 10-miler. Official time 1:05:30. 5m 32:08 (so second half 33:22), 10k 40:04. Good workout but not a good race time. I drank a full pint of beet juice 2 hours beforehand, with a banana and toast, then ate a caffeinated gel about 15 minutes before the race start. All that left me feeling a bit weird but ok. I'm just out of shape. Did have an unusual ache on my right side up under my ribs, presumably a cramp.
