Quad very sore on Thursday, esp. but not only rectus femoris. This may have been due not just to the hills but also, perhaps especially, to a combination of lying straight leg raises and aggressive foam rolling and massage. Improved but still sore on Friday. Much better today but my stride is not completely even. When running I can still feel something weird in the rectus femoris area (or perhaps vastus intermedius underneath it) although it's not painful.
