I guess I was due for a bad day. It was obvious right when I started that things were off, because look at my heart rate. I tried to shake it off and do the interval workout I planned: 6x1 minute uphill, with 2 miles easy on either side. But after 2 intervals I called it off and just ran easy until I got 4 miles in. Possible causes: 1) Holiday eating made me feel bloated, and in reaction I didn't eat enough just afterwards, which left me underweight and very low on energy; 2) I'm fighting off a bug picked up from the kids; 3) just one of those days. I will commence eating a lot now.
