I felt like I could have run on Wednesday, definitely by Thursday, and almost did on Friday. But I held off until today and have felt totally fine for days. But I was surprised by the muscle tightness I felt shortly after starting to run. Nothing in particular hurt badly, but there was unhappiness first in my upper right hamstring and hip area, then lower down on the right hamstrings, then in both calves, especially the lower right calf. Maybe there is just junk in there that needs to be flushed out. My energy was fine. Afterwards, I did a little bit of upper body strength stuff but will hold off on lower body and core work until tomorrow.
