67/63 (180). Official time 39:32, which is 17 seconds slower than 2015. Weather basically the same. 8th OA and 1st 40-44 AG (but 3 older guys beat me). Arrived 15 minutes before the race started because of an accident on 495, so basically no warm up. First test of the Vaporfly 4%, which feel big and squishy. Not 10k shoes. Putting my Supernovas back on afterwards for the cool down was surreal. The Vaporflys made the Supernovas seem small and hard. Anyway, I basically ran just like 3 years ago but a few seconds slower throughout. Given that 3 years ago this race was the culmination of a summer doing 5k-10k training and now I'm running 10-15 miles more per week, this went fine.
