Notes
75/64 (176). 3rd overall. Don't know my official time. The winner finished in 18:28 by his watch. I was right with him for 2 miles but dropped back in the third mile and was passed maybe half a mile from the finished. The winner was a DIII XC and track runner who just graduated, but the 2nd place guy was 38. My hamstring was totally fine the whole time, but my stomach was uncomfortable and my weight is up a bit. This time was an improvement, and I can't expect to make a huge leap forward in a single race. But I'm disappointed by my low cadence and failure of nerve in the third mile.
