Notes
I come for venegance, for the first son of Light, and I'm ready and willing and prepared to fight!
This was a kick-ass race. It's weird, it didn't feel like I was cruising along at sub 5:30 pace, but it certainly felt good. I really like this course for a few reasons: picturesque, flat, lots of cheering spaces.
Notes and thoughts:
1) I might be overeating before races. I had two bowls of cereal at home before coming to the bus and then a juice on the bus. I never felt hungry before or during the race. Even afterwards, I wasn't super hungry until dinner.
2) The weather could not have been better.
More thoughts later.
EDIT: I guess now (5/19/13) is later...
3) I liked this race because I was never alone. I was always chasing someone or in a pack.
4) The course itself is quite good. The one patch of sand was interesting, but everything else was well packed.
