Was a little worried about losing the rest day before probably one of my toughest workouts. But I got enough sleep last night and although the workout was hard, it was solid from start to finish. Warm up was steady with a nice slow build up during the second mile. Used the first half to 3/4s of a mile to find my pace in the first interval, but by the end of the first mile I had it locked in & maintained it nicely to the end of the interval. 2nd interval had a couple of hills about halfway through, but I was able to maintain turnover & pace through the hilly section & then the remaining 3/4s of a mile to the finish. Took an extra of minute of rest (I was crossing a busy street at that point) before starting the 2nd recovery & final interval. Once I started I again had no problem finding pace and holding to the end of the interval. By the end of the third interval, I was pretty gassed & the cool down miles were a little harder than usual but still pretty solid. Did the full set of exercise routines after the workout.
