Notes

Pretty good & very consistent set of intervals. Started out shooting for about 4 min per half mile. Ran the first one hard, but very controlled 1st quarter mile. Pushed the 2nd interval harder & ran the first quarter mile under 2 minutes but slowed down slightly after that to finish just under 4:06. For the remaining intervals, I ran the first quarter mile of each at a comfortably hard effort (a 2:04 to 2:07 pace) & then pushed the effort to finish each of the last four repetitions.at a faster speed (about a 2:02 to 2:04 pace). So while I couldn't get to the 4 min half mile mark, I ran each interval hard, had consistent speed, and felt in control of the speed and effort. Overall the session was well executed and I felt pretty positive when it was finished.
