Pretty good effort. First 8 miles were solid (in mile 5 I caught up with someone I hadn't seen in a while so I slowed down to talk for about a quarter mile -- hence the 10:45) & steady with a very consistent turnover. Last 4 miles were a bit of a struggle. Legs felt a little fatigued & the upslopes in miles 9 & 10 were very uncomfortable. But I fought through the discomfort in those 2 miles, kept my stride consistent & was able to take advantage of the downslopes in the last 2 miles to finish pretty strong.
