Repeat of Fartlek workout of past two weeks. Run after full day's work so I did need a little xtra rest after the fast sections. That said, I ran the fast sections with approximately the same effort as last week, but from the start they were significantly faster. For each of this week's fast sections I ran between 1/4 & 1/2 a lap farther during the 3 minutes. For the first four that translated into just under a 7:55 pace & even fatigued during the last two, the pace was only slightly slower -- around 8:05. Legs felt great & the noticeable increase in speed for what was essentially the same effort is extremely encouraging. Definitely fell ready to resume full time training after Thanksgiving.
