Pretty good run under rainy and very humid weather conditions. Because of the muggy weather, after the 4 mile opening section, decided to push the effort only slightly in the 2 mile "steady effort" section so I'd have enough left for the 2 mile "10k effort" section. This worked well as I was able to pick the effort as the start of mile 7, maintain the harder effort for the next mile & a half, and then pick up once more in the final half mile of that section. I had very strong finish in mile 8 & was able to access another gear despite the muggy weather, which may be good practice for next Sunday's race. Cool down miles were comfortable and easy.
