Excellent race pace run. Hamstring felt stronger than last week's race pace miles. Again fell into race pace (sub-9:40 by the end of the 2nd mile and was able to maintain pace with very steady effort through miles 3 & 4. Picked it up a notch during miles 5 & 6 with only a slight increase in effort & turnover. Effort was steady in mile 7. At the end of that mile, I still felt really good so I kept the pace & effort steady til the last 1/3 of mile 8, then I picked it up a little to finish the race pace miles strong. Ran the 7 miles (2-8) in 1:06:59, a steady & comfortable 9:35 pace. Felt good at the end of the race pace miles & eased up for the 2 mile cool down. Pedestals w/ leg lifts, Cannonball routine, & leg circuit exercises after the run.
