Really well executed set of intervals. Actually started a little too fast with the first quarter mile at about 2:01, but I consciously reined it in a touch during the 2nd half of that interval to finish at 4:07. Next four intervals were extremely consistent and comfortable with pretty equal pacing for both halves. Then for the last three intervals I felt strong enough to pick up the pace & effort at the halfway point and finish each of them with the final quarter slightly faster than the first quarter. Felt strong and at 100% during this entire workout. Pacing in all the intervals was comfortably hard, but not only did I always feel in control of my effort, I felt I could have run a few more intervals with no drop off in performance. Was really encouraged that the last 3 intervals were comparable to or faster than the first rep.
