Hooked up with a partner for first five miles and was able to maintain the target pace until the last half of mile five -- at that point started to slow down due to combination of some leg fatigue plus weather & surface ocnditions. At five I stopped to drop a layer (i was overdressed) and ran the last 10 on my own at my regular pace to get the miles in. I had no problem finishing the last 10, but couldn't push them any faster. Not a great run & not on target, but still a decent run.
