Notes
Very solid long run. 1st mile was a "warm up" mile in every sense of that phrase. But by mile 2 I got into a very good running rhythm which lasted til the end of the run. Ran miles 5 & 6 with all the ERC's Chicago marathoners doing their shake out run so the pace got a little quicker, but it was still very comfortable & easy. Ran the final 8 miles on my own and they were extremely steady & pretty effortless. Pace picked up over the final 3 miles, but effort never really changed & I never consciously pushed or chased the pace. Felt great at the end of the run & then completed all of the various exercise routines.
