Finished Pfitzenger's 5 wk recovery schedule so defaulted to his schedule for 1st week of marathon training.

Today's run was excellent. Comfortable, controlled warm up. The four miles at half marathon race pace were comfortably hard, but also I was very much in control of the pace & effort. Ran the first half mile in 4:47, then slowly & steadily increased the pace until I reached under 4:30 half miles in mile 3. Then maintained that pace for the remaining two miles of the race pace block. Finished with 2 mile cool down which mirrored the 2 mile warm up.

Felt strong the entire run and felt tired but strong at the finish. Pedestals with lifts x 2, Cannonball routine & leg circuit exercises after the run.
