Perfect weather and another really excellent long run. Took the first half of the run easy, but steady and consistent.

At the end of mile 8, took a hydration break at the last Gatorade stop for the ERC marathon training group. Felt great at that point & extremely fresh. When we took off for the last 8 miles, steadily increased the pace with very little increase in effort. Last hydration was at the end of 12 miles. Still strong and fresh and stayed that way for the next mile so picked the effort slightly and finished the last 3 miles extremely strong. Was strong & in control the entire 16 miles and still had a lot left when we finished the distance. Again the weather helped as did having someone run with me at a similar pace & effort the entire way.
