Finally got outside. Prairie path was a sheet of ice so had to run on the streets of Elmhurst. Surface was mostly o.k. but all the residential streets had random patches of ice so there was a lot of slowing down and adjusting stride & pace to run through the slippery patches. Despite the iffy surface, run was pretty good. Felt pretty strong all 13 miles. Unfortunately, made a wrong turn on the last half mile and got lost so I got in an extra half hour of walking to get to my car.
