Despite being physically tired at end of work week & some minor soreness from the race & Tuesday's tempo intervals, this was a pretty decent run. Originally, I considered running 7 miles at steady state, but at about 3 1/2 miles, I needed to increase my effort to maintain pace & felt some minor soreness in my right hip from the turns so I cut it to 5 miles rather than risk injury from pushing too hard too long. Good choice as recovery mile went fine and there was no soreness whatsoever on Friday morning.
