Dew points in the 50s did not materialize. Temp was o.k., but humidity was very high until about the last half hour. Did a 7 mile out and back with the ERC marathon training group & then an 8 mile out and back on my own. Ran very steady for the first half of the run with the ERC group & got stronger during the latter part of this portion. Humidity and lack of shade definitely adversely affected the last 8 mile stretch going west. By miles 11 & 12 legs were very fatigued and stride seemed heavy & labored. Took a slight break to gather myself before the 3 mile fast finish section & surprised myself with how much I was able to increase pace (almost a minute per mile) despite how I was feeling and the warm conditions. Cadence for the first 12 miles was pretty much in the mid 80s, but during the last 3 miles it was 88-89 and peaked at 91. Didn't hit the target paces for the fast finish but I was encouraged by how well my legs responded when my brain was telling me how tired I was. Myrtl routine & Pedestal routine x 2 (sides very weak today).
