Notes

Another well executed set of tempo intervals. Warm up mile was a steady, easy effort. Had a great feel for pace during the tempo intervals. Wanted to start the first interval conservatively and in my head wanted to run the first half mile between 4:25 & 4:30. Ran that first half mile in exactly 4:30, picked it a little in the next half mile & then again in the final half mile. Was able to repeat this strategy in the last two intervals, just at a slightly faster pace. Finished strong in all three intervals recording my fastest half mile split in the last half mile of each of the repetitions. Felt some fatigue in the last half of intervals two & three, but the discomfort had no effect on effort or pace as I pretty much just ignored it. Cool down mile mirrored the warm up mile in both pace & effort. Completed full set of exercise routines after the run.
