Timed training run in race conditions because of combination of high heat & humidity. After first mile, which included long downhill early, realized 9:30s were going to be good target in these conditions. 1st two miles pretty consistent and right around the 9:30 mark. Slowed down a little in mile 3 (sunniest part of course with one moderate uphill in middle), but pushed pace in last mile (about 50% downhill) and was able to finish race running strong & hard, even through the last significant uphill a quarter mile from the finish line. A pretty good effort under the very difficult weather conditions.
