Conditions were a bit better than last Saturday although the heat and humidity did factor in, especially in the final hour. First 12 miles went really well. During 13 and 14 we finally had full sunlight & by the middle of 14 it was starting to affect me physically although I was able to finish that mile & take a couple extra minutes rest before the final four miles. The extra breather & hydration helped. Even though my legs were definitely very fatigued in the final four miles & needed a couple of extra short stops, I still was able to run hard in that stretch with no noticeable drop off in stride, cadence, or effort.
